In the coming years half of all African households will have discretionary income. Two out of three Africans has access to internet which will boost e-commerce over the coming years. Besides that, Africa is demographically unique, with an age median of only 18 years old that is expected to grow to 25 years by 2050.
The founders of Africa Axis have more than 20 years of experience in bringing luxury brands to the African market. Having worked for big multinationals like Bacardi and Coty we have learned how to grow liquor, perfume, cosmetics, and hair care brands in more than 40 countries on the African continent.
The experience that we have gained from bringing luxury brands to sometimes undiscovered territories made us realize there is a gap to be filled. As we saw not all brands have the network, logistics, and knowledge of the continent to be successful in this challenging but fast-growing market.
